We asked Goar students about the kind of music they listen to in order to do an analysis

We’ve been conducting a survey to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders at the Goar School about their favorite musical style, singing, and most listened-to songs, to find out what kind of music is most listened to in the present.
The expression ‘urban music’ can refer to a set of popular Latin musical styles in the years 2000 and 2010 such as reggaeton, trap and hip hop. The term urban refers to African-American musical styles of the 2000s. Hip Hop, trap or reggaeton are some of the most popular styles today. These and other styles are part of the so-called urban music, the origin of which dates back to the underground movements born in the streets of New York in the last decades of the 20th century. Its rhythmic bases and its provocative and vindictive lyrics are some of its common elements, but each style has its own characteristics. With this interactive test you can test your knowledge about the different styles of urban music.
The playlist of the students of Goar school
Different types of music genres have emerged, such as different types of songs in English, drill, Hip hop, pop and K-pop, reggaeton, trap, flamenco, relaxing music. On the one hand, reggaeton is the musical genre that is the most listened to, and on the other hand relaxing music or flamenco are the most unusual.
The singers that students listen to the most are: Louis Tomlinson, Trueno, Justin Bieber, Aiman, Anastasia, Strayk, Kadec Santa Anna, Ezvid 810, JC Diamante, El Alfa, Cano, Olivia Rodrigo, Beny Jr, Rauw Alejandro, Bryant Myers. As we can see, there are many singers of different styles.
