We are Marta Domènech, Iván Dionis, Marta García, Adriana Gancharro, Berta Lopez and Aitana Vera and this in an interview of a first year ESO student. She is called Eva Fernández Campos and she is 12 years old. She is a girl who loves reading and writing.
What kind of books do you like?
I like science and action books.
Have you ever written a book? What kind of text is it? What is it called? What is it about?
I wrote an adventure book a year and a half ago but I haven’t given it a name. It’s the story of a girl who is on an island and sets up her own boat and sails the sea.
How many years have you been read?
I have been reading since I was 7 years old.
How many hours a day do you read? When?
I read about an hour a day in the afternoon because I am sleepy in the morning and I don’t have time.
Do you have a specific place to read in?
My specific place to read is my room because I feel comfortable.
Why did you start reading?
I started reading because I love to read and because I was curious about the books.
What is the best cover of the book you prefer?
My favorite book cover has a bloody hand on it and it’s called Carrie.
What do you look at to start reading a book?
Before reading a book I always look at the back cover to find out what it’s about.
How do you get inspired to write?
Inspiration comes to me when I am at home, when I like a book and I start writing.
What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is Carrie because it’s scary and teenagers and I like scary books.
How did you find out you liked reading? What was the first book you read in school? And at home…?
Because I started reading and I liked it. It was one about a monster in the woods, I guess I read it at school or my parents gave it to me.
